Testimonials

“I went to see Alan when the morning sickness from my pregnancy became too much for me to handle. I had never had acupuncture before but was willing to try anything for some relief. After my second session, I noticed that the morning sickness was getting better and better. I was skeptical if it would work or not and was so pleasantly surprised that it absolutely did! I would say it made my nausea 90% better. Alan was very knowledgeable and helpful; I would absolutely recommend him!” – Olivia B.

Thank you for your time today. Olivia, my 17 year old, tends to be quite skeptical and not very open to new ideas and approaches, so she was a bit reticent. But you have a great manner (especially having teenagers yourself) and I thought it went well. You may remember that she had a volleyball tournament the next day. Her elbow was quite achy at the end of the day, and she had a sports medicine doc look at it (a teammate’s dad) who said pretty much what you did- don’t move it out of range of motion and rest it, by Tuesday all pain was gone and it hasn’t come back. Thank you again for you time and expertise. –Cinda Stenger

Acupunture for children

Alan Lloyd Acupuncture offers treatment options for children as young as 6 months.

I started taking my 11 month old son to Alan for treatment to help him with ongoing digestive, constipation, and sleep problems. I found it easy to schedule appointments, Alan was accommodating and provided very calm, gentle and effective treatment. It only took a few treatments for my son’s health and constipation to improve, and all of us at home are living a better life now with a baby who can now handle foods well and naps. Thank you Alan! –Kate De Carrillo

Hello. My daughter, 17 year old, suffers from stress and anxiety. The counselor that treated her referred my daughter to Alan Lloyd’s Acupuncture so he can help her feel better. Honestly, since the first visit, my daughter felt the difference. She came in with a migraine and the needles helped the migraine go away. The needles on her neck helped her relax and when he told her to concentrate on her breathing and nothing else; she felt much better. I strongly believe young people live very stressed lives nowadays. I highly recommend parents to consider this method of therapy. It’s safe and painless, all in an environment free of stress! –Maria Del Pilar Garcia
Last year my 14 year old daughter tore her ACL playing school basketball, two weeks after ACL replacement surgery I took her to see Alan. Our hope was that the acupuncture would reduce swelling, which would help her heal faster and in turn she would have less pain. He did a fantastic job, the acupuncture not only reduced her swelling by a significant amount, but she was able to get rid of crutches and start physical therapy much sooner than expected. On our follow up visit to the surgeon, he was thrilled with her progress and asked for Alan’s business card so he could pass it on to his own patients. As a parent I would HIGHLY recommend him not only for any child but for any adult as well! –Becky Jones
